Big Hit for USERN President as His Trip to Latin America has Reached a Record with Nine MOU Signed at LASID 2017
USERN President is now official guest and invited speakers at the Latin American Society for Immunodeficiencies biannual meeting is Sao Paulo, Brazil, but he is doing more than giving lecture on how consanguinity affects the rate of PID in northern Brazil or south Peru! Once again, USERN president is busy between sessions to meet fellow researchers from Peru, Florida, New York and Curitiba. Nima Rezaei has proved to use every moment of every day, working 24/7 to extend relations between USERN and academia in South America. The following is part of the long list of meeting and plans, Rezaei has already checked twice:
Memorandums of agreement between USERN and LASID president and Dr. Antonio Condino-Neto, Professor Beatriz Tavarez Costa-Carvalho from the Brazilian Group for Immunodeficiency (BRAGID) at Federal University of Sao Paulo, Professor Kathleen Sullivan from Childen's hospital Philadelphia, Dr. Keith Anderson from Department of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the University of South Florida, Dr. Juan Carlos Aldave at Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, Dr Carolina Prando from Instituto de Pesquisa Pele Pequeno Principle, Cedric Burg from Rocket Pharmaceuticals, and last but not least, Professor. Jolan Walter from University of South Florida at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital
All along with children in 20 countries and 40 academic centers worldwide, Nima Rezaei and Dr. Beatriz Tavares Costa-Carvalho started one of the many exhibitions of the 3rd International Peditric Patients Painting Festival, along with young Brazilian artists, as side event to the second day of LASID, yesterday at Sao Paulo Convention center.
Rezaei is heading for Mexico, Saturday night to end his Latin American voyage with a visit the Mexican Foundation for Girls and Boys with Immunodeficiencies.
