USERN President: From Inspiration for USERN Initiation to USERN Congress Development
The theme of the Congress this year will be “Science to Society”, emphasizing the important role of multidisciplinary studies to society! Therefore, different aspects of science is covered in the scientific program, which would be presented by top scientists worldwide. In the meantime, the gathering of senior and junior scientists in the context of USERN Congress would be a forward step in eliminating the age and level borders of science. Not only the senior scientists, but also junior students/scientists would get the chance to present their experiences in science within USERN Congress in the context of “Junior Talks/Posters”. The concept of USERN has been supported by a hundred scientific centers and universities.
Importantly and beyond the Nobel goal of USERN Congress in scientific promotions, USERN Prize has been also established in order to identify the most talented qualified junior scientists in all areas of science, who have devoted their times to science promotion and performed outstanding scientific projects so far! The bests of bests in each field will be awarded each year to be distinguished to the scientific world and to be acknowledged for their humanitarian efforts. The USERN Prize Awarding Festival will be held annually on November 10th, the Global Day of Science for Peace and Development.
Respecting the USERN slogan of “Science Without Borders” and in order to eliminate the geographical border of science, the USERN Congress and Prize Awarding Festival is to be held annually hosted by a scientific center worldwide. Proudly, to date, we have organized the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th USERN Congresses and Festival in Iran (Tehran), Ukraine (Kharkiv), Italy (Reggio Calabria), and Hungary (Budapest), respectively; all highly welcomed by the international academic population.
Highly welcomed by more than 1200 participants and hosted by Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), the 1st Congress newborn USERN was held between November 8th-10th 2016, in Tehran, Iran. The details are available at USERN 2016
Hosted by our great and hospitable Ukrainian colleagues, the 2nd USERN Congress and Prize Awarding Festival was held in Kharkiv, Ukraine, which was hosted by 4 great universities in Kharkiv including Kharkiv National Medical University, Karazin Kharkiv National University, Kharkiv Polytechnic University, and the National University of Pharmacy. Excitingly, this year’s congress was concurrent with the 3rd International Festival of Paintings for Pediatric Patients (IFPPP) which hosted the winners of the festival in 4 age groups. The 3rd USERN Congress and Festival was hosted by the European School of Genetic Medicine and Università Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria in Italy on Nov 10th, when it was concurrent with the 4th International Festival of Paintings for Pediatric Patients (IFPPP), which again hosted the winners of the festival in 4 age groups. The congress was followed by the Advanced Course in the field of Primary Immunodeficiencies during Nov 11th-14th 2018, in Reggio Calabria, Italy. The details are available at USERN 2018
and the 4th USERN Congress and Festival was hosted by the Avicenna International Academy and Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary during November 8-10, 2019; this congress which was organized in different halls and several parallel panels was welcomed by the delegates from 29 countries. Coming up next, the 5th USERN Congress and Prize Awarding Festival will be held on November 7-10, 2020 in the beautiful city of Tehran, Iran, in a hybrid model (attend "in-person" event with a "virtual" online component), followed by the post congress events during November 11-14, 2020. We all excited to welcome all scientists around the world in Iran.
It should be mentioned that as of the global impact of COVID-19 pandemic, our top priority will always be the health and safety of all the delegates. It is our sincere hope we will still be able to welcome all of you to Tehran this November; so that you will have the opportunity to participate in the USERN Congress. USERN Congress and Prize awarding festival will be held during November 7th-10th, 2020, focusing on the scientific theme “Science to Society”, where we will meet the USERN Prize Laureates and a number of top scientists as speakers.
Importantly and as the USERN’s routine, the program will provide a unique opportunity for juniors to present their experiences as USERN Junior Talks or Poster Presentations!
This is an early registration form, which also allows you to submit your abstract for this Congress.
It should be mentioned that registration via this form and submitting an abstract do not guarantee your final registration and acceptance of your abstracts. You will be contacted by the Congress Secretariat for further process of registration, if you are selected.
