USERN Prize 2021: Public vote
USERN has always been concerned about supporting young scientists as they are the real wealth and the beating heart of the world’s future.
Accordingly, USERN has established USERN Prize, aiming to support young scientists aging less than 40 years in five major fields of science; Formal Sciences, Physical and Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences.
In 2021, for the 6th consecutive year, USERN is organizing its Prize Awarding Festival in Istanbul, Turkey ( November 6-13, 2021). https://userncongress.tums.ac.ir
This year around 10,000 scientists were nominated for the USERN 2021 Prize. Then 150-200 young scientists were chosen as our candidates by submitting their outstanding scientific works.
These applicants had undergone an extensive scientific evaluation by the USERN advisory board members, who are among the world’s top 1% scientists.
At this stage, the top 10 scientists from each of the below fields, Formal Sciences, Physical and Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences, were nominated by our advisory board.
Since last year, USERN has decided to have the public vote as well, which might be helpful in better understanding the popularity of each top applicant from the general point of view.
Therefore, USERN kindly invites all USERN delegates to vote for their popular candidates in each field. It would be kind of you to spare some time and give your scores on a scale of 1-5, as follows:
5: Highly recommended as the best one,
4: Highly recommended as the top 5,
3: Could be recommended as the top 5,
2: Not recommended as the top 5 candidates,
1: Not recommended at all.
*As a reminder and according to USERN Statute, the USERN Prize Laureates will be selected based on the score of USERN advisers, who are all among the top 1% scientists in their field and/or Nobel/Abel Laureates. The public vote, on the other hand, could help select the top 5 candidates in each area.
