USERN Miniature Talk (mTalk)

An Innovation by USERN to Present 6-min scientific lecture in accompanying with an art performance

USERN miniature talk or MTalk is a showcase for speakers presenting a short-term powerful idea in under 6 minutes or less. In 2018, MTalk began its first talk, in 2020 was held the second round and this year, 3th round is going to be held in 4 steps. Talk has no topic limitation to present multiple topics and a diversity of issues from many disciplines or encourage to attend. The speakers are giving a maximum of 6 minutes to present their ideas most innovatively and engagingly. The talk aims to spread novels and surprising ideas that the audience has never heard about. Talk helps you to present your great and well-formed researches. Also, it could help you to promote your presentation skills.

The talk would bring science and art together.

During the talk presentation, a wide range of art including music, painting, and calligraphy would be represented to bring a highly attractive and energetic presentation to the audience.

Finally, presentation judgment would be held at the third or fourth step of the event.

Judgment and evaluation of presentation are preliminary based on two criteria.

The project itself and your presentation skills in the addition art performances are also judged and evaluated.

To attend in MTalk you should fill the forms and upload the abstract of your presentation.

Since then every delivered abstract you review by your research and editorial team for presenting in the next steps.

The first mTalk competition was performed during 2018 with a closing ceremony at the USERN anniversary (1st Jan 2019).

The 2nd mTalk competition was performed during 2020 with a closing ceremony at the USERN annual congress (Nov 2020).

The 3rd mTalk competition has been started since early 2021.

Now, it's the 3rd round of 3rd mTalk, where more than 150 applicants have been selected after acceptance in their regional challenges.
